It has always been a passion of Chef Patron Robert Kisby to encourage the consumption and appreciation of good food, as constantly reflected in both his menus and the sourcing of quality local produce. Children are no exception to this ethos and rather than offer children the usual bland menu of nuggets and burgers all of  the menu at Cabbage Hall can be served in smaller portions to accommodate younger diners. Roberts says  "If we want children to eat a healthier diet  then we need to help them appreciate good food and a variety of tastes. The emphasis at Cabbage Hall is on widening their understanding of fine local food".

Sunday is seen as the traditional day for families and with today's hectic lifestyles it is often the only day a family can dine together. The introduction of the new Children's Sunday Lunch Menu is designed to support this and encourage families with children to be more adventurous about where they dine. Robert goes on to say "The food on my Children's Sunday Lunch Menu is not a compromise, but a reflection of the a la carte menu presented in a child friendly way making the whole experience less daunting, but still exciting and experimental".

The Children's Sunday Lunch Menu is £10.95 for three courses and a drink, and is only available on Sundays. At all other times children can be accommodated with smaller portions of the restaurants available menu's.
